What this tour actually includes

Unlike some operators who blur the line between packages, the Classic tour has a clearly different itinerary from our VIP tour: it does not include guided reef snorkeling or a Guna community visit — those are reserved for the VIP package. What you get instead is a clean, unhurried introduction to San Blas: island time, that famous wade through the Natural Pool, and lunch on the sand.

A typical day

Pickup runs 5:00–5:45 AM from your Panama City accommodation, followed by the roughly 2.5-hour 4x4 crossing to the Carti embarkation point, then a speedboat out to the islands. You’ll have free time on the island, a stop to wade the Natural Pool and look for starfish, and lunch before the return journey — total door-to-door time is around 14 hours.
