We’re upfront that San Blas doesn’t have scuba diving infrastructure — see our snorkeling and diving guide for the full honest answer on that. What it does have is genuinely strong snorkeling, and this package is for groups who want to prioritize water time over island-hopping.
How it’s built
This is based on our Dutch Cays tour — already San Blas’s most remote and best-preserved reef, with its own earlier departure time and minimum group size — paired with an overnight stay so you can also cover the Perro Chico shipwreck reef without cramming both into a single day. Because it’s built for people already familiar with snorkeling basics, we keep the group smaller and spend more time in the water instead of splitting the day across many short stops.

Tell us your group’s comfort level in open water and whether anyone needs gear (mask/fins) versus bringing their own — Dutch Cays involves a longer boat ride than the closer islands, so it’s worth confirming everyone’s on board with that before we lock in dates.
