Isla Pelícano

Isla Pelícano — known by its Guna name Isla Gorgidub — earned a very specific kind of fame: it’s one of the filming locations used for Netflix’s Money Heist (La Casa de Papel), and fans of the show sometimes plan their whole San Blas trip around seeing it in person. Even without the Netflix connection, it’s a striking island — set further out toward the Dutch Cays, with clearer water and fewer boats than the islands closer to Carti.
